We have enjoyed making the most of the milder weather with lots of outdoor play and exploration. We were able to learn about seasonal changes with colourful natural resources, using all of our senses in our play and activities and celebrating festivals including Harvest time, and Halloween with fright free fun and messy games and activities.
As always we also respond to the interests of the children throughout the first half of the Autumn term as we get to know them. This has resulted in building/construction activities indoors and out, role-play including caring for babies as well as travelling on buses and trains, and favourite small world play has been pirates which we have developed with treasure maps and treasure hunting.
