The children chose to learn about large animals this week. We explored The Snail and the Whale story using our senses. After experiencing the story with an ocean sensory bottle and beach scene, we sequenced events by creating story wheels. The children recalled the fire engine, volcano, and classroom in particular. The Owls shared their story wheels, retelling The Snail and the Whale at the end of the session during story time.
